FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My initial quote is usually an hourly fee, but my pricing is flexible depending on the project type. I'm happy to work on an hourly retainer basis to help out with smaller design projects and ongoing home upkeep. For larger interior remodel and architectural projects, I like to hear more about your needs and then tailor a fixed project fee specifically for you. This eliminates any surprises for the cost of work done. I also offer fixed price per room packages which are ideal for quick interior decor projects. I offer discounted design services for women and minority businesses owners - please ask me how!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with an initial consultation, which can be done in person on site, or over the phone/ email as necessary. Once I have a better idea of your specific project needs, I'll be able to draw up a project scope, concept, timelines, and fee proposal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have years of training in both Interior Design and Architecture, with a Master's degree in Architecture. I am a professionally licensed architect, which allows me to tackle any interior renovation/remodel or new construction you have in mind. I am a digital artist, with training in Revit BIM, Rhino 3D visuals, Sketchup, and other 3D modeling programs. I can produce photorealistic renderings of your space for you to visualize it before the construction happens!
