FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All projects are vastly different. Some artists come in with their home studio files to help them bring the sound to 'pro' level. Others record from scratch which sometimes makes it quicker and less expensive because no time is spent on 'cleaning' up the sound. Then, of course, there's a hybrid of existing files brought in and then additional tracks/production are added here at the studio.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
..That the ENGINEER is responsible for the final 'sound' (along with the artist of course). Not the studio, not the equipment (to an extent). When seeking out a studio, the artist should make sure that the engineer has worked with his or her style of music, can show examples and has completed it on the equipment he plans to use with the project. Then you really cant go wrong.
