- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It depends on the job at hand for data recovery I have a range from $300 to $800 for easy to complex issues as long as I don't to physically open a drive. If platters or heads need to be replaced then it can run from $1800 to $2000. For computer repairs and other types of jobs, I charge by the hour $95 minimum of 2 hours.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get a phone call from the customer explaining the problem, based on that I will give an estimate. Then the customers and I will meet at their place or at a public place.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Self-taught 10 years on the job recovering data from pretty much anything that can hold data. I like to hack things to make them do what I need.
