FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically price based on the job and what it entails. The reason I don't charge by the hour is that it either is bad for the customer or the installer. If I charge an hourly rate, it might be something difficult that I'm good at. If I finish quick I get punished. On the other side if an installer charges by the hour but ends up being very slow at completing the project then it hurts the customer. Therefore, I price based on the job and level of difficulty and tools/experience required. Just know that I will give you the best price possible but the quality of work will far exceed any price I charge.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The typical process is speaking to my customer to get a better understanding of what they are looking for. I make myself available when the customer is available. I can communicate through phone calls, text, or email. I also will travel to my customer's home for free estimates when necessary.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of hands-on experience in the fields that I specialize in. I have worked with major companies and along side various contractors along the way. I have 15 years of experience managing Lowe's's stores. I've managed many departments and was an assistant manager for many years. I managed their installation project and kitchen & bath remodels for several years. I am a great project manager and can help you in many ways.
