- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most estate planning will be handled on a flat fee basis which can be adjusted based on the apparent complexity of the work. Half will be due up front and half at the time of completion and execution of the documents. If an hourly fee is preferred the fees will rise commensurate with the work done on the documents.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial consultations are free and are usually held at our office. We will gather all the information we need to start the drafting process and determine the best solution for your particular situation. We aim for a quick turnaround based on what is convenient for your schedule, and will communicate with you through the process to collect all needed information and design a plan that works for you. Your next office appointment will bring you back in to execute the prepared documents and then we will send you copies as well as perform any filings necessary to complete the execution of your estate plan. We keep all originals, which you can access or receive copies upon request.
