FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
One question potential clients ask me is, "Why would I choose your cleaning service over someone that is cheaper?". I can tell you a few reasons. First of all, I do a very thorough job. A lot of clients tell me they had hired a cheaper cleaning service before me and were not satisfied. Another reason my prices are a little higher is because I pay my employees above minimum wage. I not only believe that it is difficult to find employees that care about the job as much as I do if they are being underpaid, but I also believe it is extremely difficult to live on minimum wage. I want my employees to know that I care about them and their well being, and in return, they will most likely respect the job and my clients.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started at a young age to work for and learn from other cleaners. I gained the experience necessary to provide high quality work.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised to work hard. At a young age, I was cleaning my parent's house. I started cleaning for pay at the age of 15. I had a part time job at a bed and breakfast with 6 huge rooms. A year later, I advertised in the local paper to clean some people's houses. I wanted some extra side money while I was in school. I had a few loyal clients from that. In my early 20's I started my own bed and breakfast (Airbnb) in NYC. I managed and cleaned a few of my own as well as some of my client's Airbnb's. Now here I am, in Tampa, striving to build a faithful clientele.
