FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer competitive base prices for my services. I accept various forms of payment, and our payment terms are straightforward. Invoices will clearly outline due dates and any applicable late fees. In some cases, there may be additional travel fees.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I respond promptly to gather basic information about their photography needs, such as the type of shoot (e.g., portrait, event, commercial), date, location, and any specific requests. If needed, I schedule a consultation meeting in person or virtually to discuss the details further. This allows me to understand their vision, style preferences, and specific requirements. Once the customer decides to proceed, they confirm the booking by signing a contract/agreement. The contract typically includes details such as the agreed-upon services, date and location of the shoot, payment terms, cancellation policy, and usage rights of the photographs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed several specialized courses and workshops in portrait photography, including seminars on posing techniques and creating a comfortable environment for subjects. These experiences have equipped me with the skills to capture authentic moments and expressions that resonate with my clients. Throughout my career, I've also pursued continuing education opportunities to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in photography. This includes mastering new editing software and learning about advancements in lighting equipment, which are crucial for delivering high-quality portraits. Beyond technical skills, my education emphasized the importance of client communication and customer service. I understand that portrait photography is not just about taking pictures but also about building rapport with clients, understanding their preferences, and exceeding their expectations.
