Derrick was the photographer and videographer for a wedding I coordinated. He is extremely professional, patient and diligent in his craft. He had the pictures and videos to us within a week. He was thorough in his communications as well. I look forward to working with him on future projects.

I cannot recommend Derrick highly enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was amazing. He has an incredible eye for detail and captured moments that I will cherish forever. He made my kiddo also feel completely comfortable in front of the camera, he is great working with kids. The final photos were creative, sharp and stunningbetter than I could have imagined! If youre looking for someone who can beautifully capture your special moments, look no further. Im so thrilled with the results and will definitely be returning for future shoots!

Derrick exceeded my expectations and then some. I came on here last minute looking to save money on my wedding. I knew pretty much right away Derrick was the guy. He had all the video and audio handled and had a plan from the beginning (even when we didn’t).
We switched things up on him last minute and rolled with it like a pro. Our venue loved him and asked for his contact info to do more events (Archer Hotel). He found creative ways to shoot everything but somehow I never saw him.
We are definitely using Derrick for some future family events. We highly recommend him to anybody on here looking for a videographer. Derrick is a rare find.

We had an awesome maternity photoshoot with Derrick last weekend. We all arrived a few minutes early and Derrick got started shooting us immediately for the full hour. He has a lot of experience shooting at the national mall, so knew exactly where to go and what poses to suggest in each location. It was also fun to chat with him about living in DC! The photos came out beautifully despite some humid and foggy weather.

My husband and I worked with Derrick to take photos of our elopement in Washington DC. He was absolutely phenomenal! He made my husband and I feel at ease during the entire process. I loved the poses that he had us do - they show our personality.My favorite thing is that Derrick has a very in-depth knowledge of venues around the area. I asked for help in deciding where to take photos - he sent me an entire list of places to choose from that he recommended. We ended up picking 2 separate locations; he knew the best areas for photos in both of them. This may seem like a minor detail, but it helped maximize the photos/poses that we got to do because we didn't need to search for locations. Derrick also got our photos back to us really quickly!I definitely plan on working with Derrick again for other photo shoots.
