I hired Herrera and Medrano Construction (materials not included) to tape and mud my attic space, install Sheetrock in my stairwell, and finish a small nook area. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the quality of work and the lack of professionalism. Several areas were left unfinished. A section of the attic wasn’t completed because the contractor claimed it would crack, despite quoting me for it. He also refused to trim around a smaller window because it wasn’t in the quote, citing installation issues, but didn’t take steps to fix it properly, leaving the area lumpy due to doubled Sheetrock. I had to call him back multiple times to address missed details, including an exposed pole in the stairwell. I expected a professional to ensure quality and address issues thoroughly, but that didn’t happen. Based on my experience and the fee I was given, I was not happy with the results.
