Introduction

Videography and Photography Services are $300 per hour with editing or $150 per hour without editing. My name is Harry Kane, the founder of Kane Films. The company is located in the Hartford area. My company is committed to offering dependable & reliable video and photo services for affordable prices with a quick turnaround. Whatever your video or photo project may be, I aim to capture your event with a bit of magic. I enjoy shooting photos and creating videos of your special moments. All photos or videos will be uploaded to Google Drive for viewing and download before final edits are sent out. Once the customer is satisfied with the product, and any changes have made, the USB flash drive will be mailed out within 4-6 weeks of the wedding. The basic and bronze packages are downloadable via Google Drive. I am dedicated to offering a comprehensive range of videography & photography and editing services at competitive rates. This lets me adjust and work with whatever your budget is for the project. I focus on meeting your video or photo documentation needs. Every project is different. I try to create a unique film that highlights what matters the most to my clients. Looking forward to working with you!

Harry Kane is a good event videographer and editor.  Let me first say that the process for finding a wedding videographer can sometimes be difficult and confusing. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first contacted Harry. Initially, I thought I just wanted the ceremony video, but later after hearing about the different options, we went with the Platinum Package. Even though it cost the most, it was still very reasonably priced. We wanted something that would capture the whole event from start to end, but we didn’t want to pay and arm and a leg. We saw Kane Films on Thumbtack and we were a bit confused about the different packages. My wife and I are a bit skeptical, so we had tons of questions about lighting and sound and editing. Harry explained that he uses two cameras during the ceremony. He also uses a wireless microphone and places that on the officiant to ensure high quality sound of the ceremony. So for the ceremony package, Kane Films edits a ceremony video with footage from the two cameras and masters that on a DVD and on a USB flash Drive and sends it out within 4-6 weeks. We got ours within a week! Wow!!! Then he explained the other packages that he offers and I became more interested. Sure, I didn’t really want to spend all that much more money after hiring a photographer and everything else, but I listened to what Harry had to say and after hearing him out, I thought twice about getting just the ceremony package. Kane Films offers three other packages that pretty much cover what any bride and groom would want. After speaking with Harry on the phone for 20 minutes he explained all the in’s and out’s of the process, from start to finish. There is a Silver Package that covered 6 hours of videography and there would be a final edit of the ceremony video, plus a highlight video, which includes all the best shots into a 3-4 minute video to a song. Then there is the gold package, which includes 8 hours of videography and an edited feature video that includes the ceremony and the reception. The Platinum Package includes 10 hours of videography, a highlight video and a feature video. With all the packages, Kane Films provides all the raw video, free of charge, and the edited videos on a USB Flash Drive. That made me feel so much better, because either way I would be getting all the footage shot of my wedding. After deciding on the Platinum Package, Harry explained that the process after the wedding. After he is done editing the project, he uploads the video or videos to google drive and I was able to view the videos and then give him feedback about some changes we wanted to make. I watched the videos with my wife and we gave him some feedback for some minor changes to the highlight video. He made the changes and re-uploaded the videos several days later with those changes. Then after we okayed it, he sent us everything in the mail. FYI, Harry arrived an hour early. He also filmed some footage as we were getting ready before the wedding. He was able to capture some great moments! Harry was on time and dressed professionally. He was friendly and courteous throughout the entire process. I can’t believe we were so lucky to get such a fantastic videographer to record our most memorable moment. Kane Films did a great job. We would hire again.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing you should do is look at the samples on my website or on Thumbtack portal and decide if you like the types of videos I make. I can switch things up a bit if you need something different, but if you like what you see, lets connect and discuss your video. Secondly, you need to look at pricing. There's a price list on my website and on Thumbtack for wedding video. Other videos are a bit different, depending on the length of time I'd be filming for and the editing duration.
