FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Prices are based on 2 factors, the size of the window that needs film application and the type of material to be applied. Standard materials range from $6.50/sq. ft. to $11/sq. ft.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to assist my customers to make the right choice of materials based upon what your end goal is. I don't like to make suggestions based on what I like or prefer. I listen to what your problem is such as privacy, glare reduction, excessive heat or simply UV protection for your flooring, furniture, or artwork.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my professional window tinting career in 2004 installing film on vehicles at my local tint shop. We were very busy and tinted on average about 10 cars per day with 4 of us working there. I progressed from a trainee to manager in the first 2 years. In 2009 I left my auto tinting career behind to hit the road with a residential and commercial window tinting company and was tinting windows from New York to Maine. I have been tinting on construction sites that require safety training and hard hats, manufacturing plants, luxury homes, lake houses, new york city apartments, corporate offices, military contractors and bases, I was able to travel to different locations almost every day of the week. I really enjoyed that aspect of the job. I learned everything there is to know about window tinting during that time. In 2012 I left that job and went into business for myself putting everything I learned to good use. I became a vendor for multiple car dealerships around the state and also subcontracted for construction companies for work on commercial flat glass.
