FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based primarily on the following... 1. Size 2. Materials 3. Level of Detail 4. Time (for Live Painting at events) So if you have a clear idea of what you want, I'd love to hear about it. If not, let me know what you do have for ideas, images, or inspiration, and we will figure it out together. I have been doing all of these things for quite a while and I may offer some things you weren't expecting. And I do my best to tailor my offerings to suit all budgets and levels of magnitude. You should call me!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The best way to sort out what you want and how I can make it happen for you, is via an in-person meeting, zoom call or phone conversation. We can go over your ideas, you can send me photos or sketches, and we can come to an agreement on an option that works for your budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors degree in Fine Arts with a specialty in Painting from The University of Massachusetts at Amherst and I have studied in arts programs at Wesleyan University and The University of Hartford. Both of my parents were fine artists and I credit most of what I know to my family, including the calligraphy and hand-drawn lettering which I learned from my Grandfather. I have a relentless thirst for knowledge and I spend a lot of time in museums and galleries, soaking up art history and I am constantly sketching, writing, painting, and film-making - just to name a few.
