I live in a very old cottage. It has always been very drafty and hard to keep warm during the winter months. Eco Energy Guard came and quickly accessed my cottage and recommended that I insulate my basement. It was very reasonably priced for the proposed job, so I went ahead with it. They were very professional, clean and unintrusive. The insulation has made a huge difference in keeping my cottage warm and cozy. I only wish Ihad called Eco Energy years ago, I would have saved a lot of money on my heating costs. Excellent Job!!!

Bill came to my house and did an energy audit. He used a special camera to see where the cold spots are in my house. He then suggested a few different ways of going about fixing the cold areas. After all was said and done my heating costs and cooling costs have gone down! Thank you Bill for saving me money!

Bill arrived on time to provide the estimate, he identified all the issues with attic and provided detailed estimates with various options and to my surprise he quoted 30% less than the competition. I requested him to accommodate me asap as I have 4 month old son and room turned freezing cold at nights - so he went extra mile and gave a next day appointment. He and his guys were thorough professionals - they arrived on time and completed the task in 2.5 hours(R11 to R60). They made sure to clean up everything and I am very happy with the job done.

We have a standard pricing system based on product, materials, square footage and complexity of project. Completing an energy audit gives us the power for big rebates!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talk briefly about their concerns and generalities about their home, conduct a detailed inspection of the areas required and a complete break down in Laymans terms of the steps needed to rectify the situation. Supply a complete quote broken into sections with final costs inc any discounts/state rebates.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A BS in Landscape Architecture, building science, home builder, certified top of the house Owens Corning contractor, HES energy rebate program. Certified IR (infrared) trained professional.
