FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each job is different. Some contractors use a "per square foot" rate that they charge for a remodel or renovation but whatever that number is, it is bound to change and it will only go up. There are all sorts of items that are not included in that number and I think it creates false expectations for the client when they are given a number and then they start seeing it go up and up. I don't like to do that. I first meet with a potential client to discuss the scope of the project. I do my inspection of the job site, do my measurements, discuss the type and cost of materials to be used and then put together a detailed estimate of materials, time and labor required to do the job, then submit it to the client for their approval.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 40 years of professional experience in all areas of construction and renovations.
