Hello, I have been in Colorado Springs for a year and a half but I am not new to pet sitting or the animal world at all as you will read in my bio below. I am excited to continue discovering this next chapter/adventure in my life and I look forward to meeting new pets and owners in the coming future. Thank you for your time and consideration. I have been working in the veterinarian field for about 12 years now and have a passion for animals especially cats with owning a hand full of them myself. I currently work at a ER/specialty animal hospital as a receptionist and have been in emergency now for 3.5 years. I have done pet sitting in the past and have found a joy in helping others. This time around I've been doing pet sitting for the last 3 years consistently. I generally set up a meet and greet free of charge first to meet the fur babies/yourself, learn the pets routin, where everything is, and exchange the key but prices do vary depending on how many visits, distance, number of pets, and if there are medications involved so please ask to get a quote. Thank you! Meeting all the new animals is probably my favorite part of what I do. Animals have always been a passion of mine and they definitely have a way of making me smile.

Chelsea was great at interacting with the cats during our vacation, sending pictures and texts about how they were doing. Met the cats personalities where they were and I felt confident that the cats were getting the attention they wanted while we were gone! Will definitely hire again :)!

Chelsea was amazing with our cats! She looked after our two extremely shy cats for over a month and we were pleasantly surprised to find them happy and really interacting with her while we were gone. One of them was talking non-stop with her! She sent us regular updates with photos and kept our house as clean as possible. In short, we highly recommend her for pet sitting, we found our cats quite happy and healthy when we returned.

This was the first time that I used Thumbtack and Chelsea's sitting service.. Chelsea came highly recommended and she lived up to the recommendations. I found working with Chelsea was professional, she was reliable, she's very friendly and intuitive with our pets. Chelsea has a wonderful way with animals. I know if my cats could talk, they would have told me that they were quite happy with her care and her visits. I would use Chelsea again in the future for our cat sitting if she is available. Pricing is dependent on number of animals, distance, medications, etc. I advise to please ask for a quote.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first step is sending a quote on Thumbtack then if you like what you see I typically set up a time to meet you and your pets and discuss details. If everything goes well then you would make the decision to hire me.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have owned cats since I was 6 years old and have always been responsible for them. I have been around dogs as well for a good portion of my life as well as I have been working in the vet field for about 6 years now. My current office I work for see all types of animals including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and amphibians.
