FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Once you contact us via email or phone, well make an appointment to visit your home to develop a written estimate. While on site we will learn about the scope of the project and talk with you about your needs. We will take measurements and assess the condition of the area to be painted. We will provide a detailed estimate that includes pricing for repairs, if needed, as well as paint and any other materials required (such as lumber if repairs are needed). You can sign the estimate at this stage and provide a 20% deposit. Or, if you need more time to make a decision the estimate is valid for 30 days.

We will provide a detailed estimate that includes pricing for repairs, if needed, as well as paint and any other materials required (such as lumber if repairs are needed). Scheduling Once you are ready to begin the work, simply contact us by phone or email to proceed. We schedule projects on a first come, first serve basis and factor in time of year and your schedule. We will provide you a day-by-day summary of our work so you will have a sense of what we will be doing each day. Then, once the work begins well notify you if we need to make adjustments based on unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather for exterior projects. Color Matching and Purchase of Paint As part of our estimate we will handle the purchase of paint and color matching for areas that are to be repainted. We provide the paint, purchased at a wholesale price, at no additional cost or mark up. We are extremely adept at estimating the paint quantities needed, and typically when we are painting an entire home, we provide you a gallon of each color for future needs. Preparation Wear and tear on a home from inclement weather and other factors can require repairs and preparation. This work commonly requires repairs made to wood trim and siding. Our first step when onsite will be to make these repairs by removing any damaged materials and replacing them with new material. We will also thoroughly scrape any flaked, cracked or peeling paint, and sand, caulk and prime as needed. We will pressure wash the entire home to remove any dust, debris and cobwebs. We will also remove any mildew areas as part of the preparation. Painting Once the preparation is complete we will apply two coats of premium paint to the walls and to the trim. Our daily cleanup process includes picking up debris and trash. We clean and put away all tools and supplies. We stack ladders and store paint neatly. Review and Payment Once the work is complete, we will walk through the entire job with you reviewing the repairs made and the work performed to ensure you are 100% satisfied. We require the final payment (80%) upon completion of the work.
