FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
WEDDINGS - I only book ONE wedding per date to insure that everyone receives the service they are entitled to. My pricing listed for weddings is for makeup services ONLY and does not include hair. Hair services can be added on and are in addition to the quoted rate. Also, the 1st person is assumed to be the bride, hence why the pricing is higher on the quote estimate. I have a 5 service minimum per artist, requirement to travel on location. Travel fees are determined based on round trip travel time and not mileage due our location. My pricing not only reflects my experience, but quality of products used and time spent communicating with the bride from start to finish. It also includes the cost of disposable items to maintain a high level of sanitation to keep everyone safe from cross-contamination. I also provide a complete set of clean, washed makeup brushes for each person that receives makeup services to further help keep everyone safe. I am licensed in the State of Colorado, along with all of the artists that I work with. I also carry liability insurance as well.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We discuss what the client's vision is for their event. We also discuss anything that they would like to stay away from. I ask to see inspiration photos of the look that are wanting to achieve, as well as photos of how they typically wear their makeup. I want it to be a positive and fun experience for the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed esthetician with over 10 years of experience and I have been a makeup artist for over 19 years. I have trained and apprenticed under some of the biggest industry leaders. I have also freelanced for some of the biggest makeup brands such as Nars, Anastasia Beverly Hills and IT Cosmetics, to name a few.
