This was a terrible experience and the quality of the work is less than garbage!! We hired Alicia and John to help us build a stamped, colored concrete patio and a pergola to provide shade. The overall project was not completed and deadlines were not met along the way. They subcontracted a concrete company that poured 2 terrible concrete patios. The first was poured the day before a snow storm, in addition to the concrete being the wrong color, the stamp was not visible due to the snow packing the concrete. Also, the weather did not allow the concrete to cure properly and so what stamp was there, was washed away during power washing and so was not sealed. We asked for this to be redone- which they complied after telling us repeatedly this is the nature of the business and never really admitting fault. Rescheduling the demolition and re-pour took 6weeks. The second patio had an even worse stamp, with the wood grains being cross stamped over one another and missing all together in other areas. Again, the pad was poured during not ideal weather conditions - this time rain, which left severe pitting throughout the concrete. The wood for the pergola was never delivered and when asked for updates, they never had a solid answer but blamed us for ordering a unique size wood referring to the 6x6 posts that were to be used for the frame. Due to the lack of ownership in the fault of the project and not trusting them to provide quality workmanship, we canceled the continuation of the project. While working through negotiations of what money would be returned (we didnt ask for it all originally, as we thought it fair, since the did provide a patio- a very ugly one, but a patio none the less), an 8 foot crack developed on one side of the patio, while on the other it is pulling away from our house. We have now asked for a full refund of the project and the cost to have another contractor remove the failing patio. We are out $9000 including the left over deposit for the pergola we never received. We are going on 5 weeks, and the company has completely ghosted us, and will no longer respond to emails, texts or phone calls.BUYERS BEWARE - This company is not to be trusted!!!!

I had hail damage on my roof and had a very high deductible. Tracy their sales agent was very helpful in working with my insurance company and adjusters to show them where all the damage was. Tracy and Alicia came out 4 times before the start of the job to assess damage, work with the adjusters and check the attic ventilation to make sure it would be adequate as I was switching from a Grey Shingle to Black. They suggested the color change and it made my house look much better. I was initially hesitant about the change due to the potential additional heat in the attic. After analysis they felt the color change would not effect my heat gain that much. The guys that put on the roof and gutters were very efficient and did a great job. My job was tougher in that it required that my solar system be removed and replaced. Roots to Roofs coordinated that with a subcontractor. The Solar System Subcontractor team was very nice and kept me up to date on their progress however they dented an outdoor metal dining table and Roots to Roofs followed up with them to make sure they compensated me for the damage. Also one gutter joint was leaking and they had someone over very quickly to fix it. Overall a very good experience.
