We have a 35-year-old sprinkler system installed long before we owned the home. It has five zones and one of them had a valve that didn't close, resulting in lack of pressure to the other zones. Although our large lawn suffered severely, we put off repair both because of cost fears and not knowing who to contact for repairs. Through Thumbtack I found Mike Delehoy, who turned out to be exactly the person we needed. He had extensive experience with sprinkler system repairs and told me at the first visit that he get it running for us. His estimate was very reasonable. Although the problem turned out to be even more complicated than he had anticipated, he came multiple times with additional tools to locate the problem, totally fulfilling his initial promise. He was always personable, upbeat, and determined to fulfill his promise to get it working. He handled multiple on-site hindrances, includes dogs, someone mowing the lawn, and a difficult spouse with grace and respect. And he solved the problems and we have a working system! I had no idea of the amount of wiring involved.
