Looking for a good trainer? Stop right there. Stop browsing. Give Lauren a try. I've known / worked out with Lauren since the tail end of 2018 but my wife has known and worked out with her for much, much longer than that back when she lived in Santa Barbara, CA. If you've ever heard the adage that if you find something you enjoy you never have to work a day in your life... well, that's Lauren. This is what she loves to do. Lauren is an excellent trainer and an absolute BALL OF ENERGY to work with. If you're one of those lethargic people that need to plug into somebody else to give you energy to work out with... well then stop reading my review and schedule a meeting with her. She's like the freakin' energizer bunny. Whether it be working on your form, your diet, your emotional health, or even sore muscles in your body, Lauren truly is there to help you feel better about yourself. When you pay for her time. She makes that time all about you, and only you. I genuinely felt like my health was as important t her as it was me and I was not just another paying customer. Take it from me; I used to be a 410 LB guy who was TERRIFIED of the thought of working with a woman trainer. But Lauren is seriously one of he most approachable, bubbly people you'd likely meet. - Bill (29)

Lauren Holland is an EXCELLENT trainer!!! Not only does she create and execute a great workout, but she is so comfortable and easy to be around. In amongst her professionalism, a friendship came out of our years of working out together. I’m most grateful for that. :-) What I also very much appreciate about Lauren is how attentive and aware she is to my aches, pains or dissatisfactions of my body. At the beginning of each workout, she would ALWAYS ask, “so what’s going on with your body?” From there she would cater the workout around my needs, desires or limitations. MUCH appreciated!! Lauren recently moved away from Santa Barbara and I miss her VERY much!! The good news is when she does come back in town, she always sets aside time to train me. 😊

Lauren is a fantastic trainer! She is knowledgable, kind, and helps you set goals and achieve them. When I first started training with Lauren, I didn't have any goals other than to lose weight. Since then, she's helped me set goals such as competing in Spartan Races. Instead of focusing on my physical appearance, she's helped me set goals based on improving my athletic ability and health through meal plans, form adjustment, and custom workout plans that assist you in achieving the goals you've set. She is a genuinely caring person who wants to see you succeed and be proud of your accomplishments. When I first started working with her my form for squats and deadlifts was pretty terrible. Through custom workout plans and meal plans she created, I'm proud to say that I've come a long way and can now perform these difficult exercises correctly. I have gained the knowledge to evaluate my form without needing her there to tell me what needs to be improved. Since I've started with her she has relocated. I made the decision to continue working with her, and even though I'm no longer able to meet her for in-person sessions, she has offered me the option of phone calls twice a month and has continued to create beneficial workout and meal plans based on my current goals. She also has a phone app that has links to videos for each of the exercises in case I need a refresher, an area to keep track of your progress, and the option to leave comments for feedback/notes. Overall, I'm very satisfied and happy I decided to start working with Lauren. I highly recommend her expertise to anyone who wants to improve their physical health.

Lauren's been training me for almost 5 years now and I can't imagine working with anyone else! I came to her not really knowing what I wanted and she was so patient and helped me formulate goals that were realistic given my (lack of) experience and available time to commit to fitness. I still can't believe some of the things I was able to accomplish and the strength I didn't know I had - all because of her. Beyond working out, Lauren has taught me so many skills and habits to stay healthy and I'm grateful to her for that. I know that Lauren will always find ways to keep me motivated and challenged and I NEVER get bored with her workouts. She is truly a gem and I highly recommend her whether you're a casual gym go-er or looking to totally change your health lifestyle.

I needed to slowly start working out and get back in the gym after my back injury. That is where I met Lauren and quickly noticed how she was so committed and passionate about her training sessions with her clients. I have now been training with Lauren for 3 years now. She was able to tailor my sessions to meet my specific rehabilitation needs. She put in a lot of time and effort in my rehab program. Her knowledge and experience have helped me get back stronger than ever. Last year I was able to compete in three outdoor events and have already committed to three more competitions this year and feel extremely confident in my fitness ability to compete with the best. I could not have done this without Lauren. I highly recommend her as a personal trainer. The professionalism and passion for what she does is second to none.
