FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge $60 an hour for generalized garden labor in the city of Denver and $65-$70 an hour in nearby regions. We charge $85 an hour for irrigation work, with availability and pricing to be quoted by project for all other locations. Clients who commit to a season long maintenance package receive a 10% labor discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For new clients wanting only maintenance services, we start by sending a proposal for a "bite size" maintenance visit (2-5 hours depending on client's wishes.) This first visit allows the client to see our pace and quality of work. It also allows us to assess the property and then send a proposal for recommended ongoing maintenance services. For new clients interested in planting or other landscaping services, we offer a free on-site client consultation where we gather the information we need to then send a proposal for design with a suggested project budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by several different high altitude master gardeners in Telluride, Ridgway and Norwood, Colorado. I tended CSU’s High and Dry research garden, noting which plants not only survived with no supplemental watering, but thrived in these conditions. Our landscaping manager and myself have been attending professional trainings facilitated by CPS Distributors. Topics have included water feature design, irrigation basics and drainage solutions. The trainings have been great, we are very appreciative to have CPS as an educational resource.
