FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have several fitness packages to best meet my clients' needs. I start at $60/hour for one session, and with a package, the price can be as reasonable as $50/hour, which includes texts between sessions for motivation, reminders, and to answer your questions.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We start out with a free consultation in person or by phone, to determine your health and fitness goals, as well as best times to train together. I explain packages that make training more reasonable and cost effective for you. Then, we do a fitness assessment during our first session to see where you are now, and determine which exercises and workout frequency will best help you reach your health and fitness goals. Clients often work with me for six months to a year. Eventually, the goal is for clients to understand enough about health and fitness to be confident and able to workout on your own between our sessions, or with a fitness partner to make health and fitness a natural part of your lifestyle.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's in Sport and Exercise Science from UNC, and regularly read health and fitness articles and journals to stay current on the latest health studies and fitness trends. I also am an ACE Certified Health Coach, which I keep current through continuing education courses. My Health Coach certification is through ACE, the American Council on Exercise, which is a nationally accredited certification.
