Hello! I'm Ilona, and I've been passionate about Pilates for over 15 years. My journey began when Pilates was recommended to me for core strengthening due to my hypermobility. This experience ignited my love for the practice and led me to earn a BS in Physiology from UCLA. There, my passion for helping others feel stronger, safer, and more agile in their bodies truly flourished. I have done private Pilates classes with Ilona and have absolutely become obsessed with the experience and results. Ilona makes me feel confident on the reformer while still challenging me physically. Her medical background is incredibly valuable in correcting my form, she helps me focus in on specific areas, and I leave feeling strong and confident. It’s a great workout physically, the sessions have been healing (for my past issues with my knees), and I always want more. Hands down, Ilona’s Pilates are the best instructed sessions I have had in my life!

Having undergone two extreme spine surgeries in the past year - I was reluctant to return to fitness. Ilona’s vast knowledge about the human anatomy paired with her expertise in pilates allows you to really engage your body and mind through your practice. Her classes have given me both the confidence in rebuilding my physical strength in rehabilitating myself and also mental/emotional confidence in myself and my capabilities since I am starting back below square one. You won’t regret trying a class out! Great value with personal attention to avoid any possible injury and to maximize your practice.

Ilona is amazing, I love working with her, I feel great after her classes, my body is rejuvenating after each class with her. I would like to look like Ilona a be so enthusiastic about Pilates. I started working with Ilona to help me with my flexibility, core strength, and building muscle endurance. I sit a lot and had various back issues, could not tie my shoes without significant strain, and struggled with athletic motions in tennis and golf. Ilona is absolutely amazing and extremely professional. She has deep understanding of the structure of the body and explained motions and the challenges I was facing in detail. We worked together to modify Pilates moves that matched my abilities and goals. This was very helpful since I could see progress even with my constraints. I also had very stiff muscles because of my background in working with free weights. She helped me build the smaller muscle groups and my core. She also progressively increased the challenge in each workout as I was improving. I am now able to do things that I thought would be impossible for me. I also feel extremely confident in my motions and the capabilities of my body when I play tennis and golf. The work she did to help me improve rotation, core stability, and overall strength have helped me improve my game by leaps and bounds. I play better than I have played for years with motions feeling effortless. In athletic moves, I am stronger than I was 10 years ago. I am considering picking up a few sports that I had ruled out years ago because of my physical abilities. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She will make you work for it, but she knows exactly what she is doing.

Ilona is great! Very professional and super knowledgeable with all-things-Pilates!
