Very happy with decking work from Valenz Construction. They replaced rotting boards and refinished a large back deck, and also repainted some siding in our front yard. Great experience overall, good value for the cost, and we’re very happy with the quality of the work. Ricky was great to work with and made the process go smoothly. Ricky and his team were awesome!! They were not only punctual but very clean. They painted a 2b1ba apartment in a 1905 building for me that the tenants just vacated, the before and after was amazing. I would call them again in a heart beat. Used the best Sherwin Williams paint too. Didn't skimp on anything.

Was pleased to use Ricky/Valenz Construction for a painting project at our company offices. He was super helpful coming out and giving us an estimate, sourcing our paint, and worked around our staffing hours for the project, and even came back to do a quick patch/paint repair to fix an error that we made. Their staff is insured and gets work comp benefits which made me feel good working with this company.

I chose Valenz Construction to paint the interior of my home after reading through their Thumbtack reviews, all of which gave high marks on the company's quality of work. Even with expectations set high, Valenz Construction exceeded them by delivering an elegant paint job. They turned rooms that before were drab in color into ones that are warm, vibrant, and inviting. In addition, when inspecting their work, I saw no visible flaws (i.e. fading, discoloration, blotches, or streaks). I, along with my wife, couldn't be more happy with the results.
Ricky, who led the project, was upfront and informative about the specific steps his team would take to move the project to completion, responsive to my questions, and diligent in ensuring that the end result is of quality and done by the targeted completion date.
If you find yourself in need of help with substantial enhancements or repairs to your home, I'd highly recommend going with Valenz Construction.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we set an appointment to meet and do a walk-through of the project. Then, I send an updated estimate of what the project will cost. I'll always follow-up with a phone call to answer any questions.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm a certified union carpenter. I also did a 4-year apprenticeship program through the union.
