Very happy with decking work from Valenz Construction. They replaced rotting boards and refinished a large back deck, and also repainted some siding in our front yard. Great experience overall, good value for the cost, and we’re very happy with the quality of the work. Ricky was great to work with and made the process go smoothly. We’ll be reaching out to the crew for future projects!

Professional, prompt, easy to work with, I strongly recommend Valenz Construction. Ricky remodeled our bathroom in two weeks, new tile, new shower, new paint, and gave a brand new life to the room. He dealt with the plumbing, the painting the electricity and the tiling with ease. Very safe in terms of Covid, always wore a mask. He and his workers were polite and professional. Ricky always got back to us right away. This is our first time using Ricky, and we will be using his company again.

My wife and I highly, HIGHLY recommend Ricky, David, and the whole Valenz Construction family! From the first meeting until the final day, Ricky was knowledgeable, handy, responsive, responsible, courteous, friendly, the list goes on. Long story short, the remodeling of the entire front exterior of our house (as well as painting the entire exterior of the house) went remarkably smooth, and any hiccups that occurred, Ricky was there to immediately address and fix. We will be using them for any other renovations and are so happy to have gotten to know Ricky and his family. This was the first renovation we’ve ever done, and like everyone else, we were pretty worried about the costs of construction and getting involved with a bad contractor (we have heard so many bad stories). We actually had a contractor before Valenz Construction, but we did not feel he was willing to take the time to walk us through all the details, costs, and concerns we had about the project, he was more of a “my way or the highway” type, so we parted ways with him. My advice here is to trust your intuition on hiring contractors. You can terminate your relationship with them any time until they start breaking ground. Ricky, on the other hand, on our first meeting was warm and engaging and willing to slowly walk us through all the steps and how he would go about doing the remodel. Every step of the process with Ricky was great: the estimate included a breakdown of all costs, a timeline of each step to get to completion, and an estimated time of completion (they finished on time!). His costs as compared with other estimates we got were very reasonable and transparent. When the work finally started, Ricky and his dad, David, and his team of brothers and other workers were all incredibly friendly to us and our neighbors, and were very respectful of our property, cleaning up every day. David kept my worries in check, telling me not to worry about the process, that they had it under control, and walked me through any questions I had. Any questions that they had of me, they would also offer recommendations if I asked, and were very patient with my lack of knowledge about so many nuances of construction. We had one hiccup when a subcontractor did the concrete demolition and broke an underground pipe but didn’t tell anyone and then covered it in freshly poured concrete. Ricky felt terrible, but took full ownership and said whatever additional costs were incurred to fix the issue, his company would pay for it. They fixed the issue in one day, and we were moving forward. Amazing. I’ll note that sometimes problems will come up that are up to the homeowner to cover. For example, we didn’t know that there was no plyboard underneath the stucco on our house, so once the stucco was demo’d out, we had to install plyboard before we put up the siding, which was an additional unknown cost to us, but something that had to be done. My wife and I really can’t say enough about Valenz Construction. We have gotten SO many compliments on our house, and it’s all thanks to these guys for helping us craft our vision into reality. They’ve gotten a lot of deserved recommendations from our neighbors, and we hope you will take this recommendation to heart as well. One last thing that I have not mentioned specifically about Ricky, David, and Valenz Construction is integrity. Every interaction and every cost or additional item discussed was detailed in full and I always felt they were working in my best interests to do the best thing at the right cost. It’s really hard to know when you have someone with integrity in the construction business because it’s so easy to change things here and there that will add costs to the homeowner over time, but after working with Ricky and his family, I always felt that their integrity led them to do their jobs the right way all the time. 5 Stars and more for Valenz Construction, you’re the best!! P.S. If you’re curious, Valenz Construction was responsible for all work on the remodel of the house except the following – all of whom, by the way, I have provided 5 Star reviews because they were amazing as well! Who knew we could be so lucky on our first ever remodel: Garage doors - Reliable Garage Doors of Concord Landscaping – Jannisse & Sons Pavers – Solo Pavers

I've been meaning to write this for a while! Valenz Construction did a fantastic job putting down new tile in a large closet where the floor was damaged by water. They came out quickly and gave me a great price, and the work they did was prompt and flawless. The closet looks great - they did excellent prep work, and cleaned up everything. The job took a couple of days, and each day they made sure the area was accessible to our tenant. There were a couple of tricky bits to the job, and they were also great problem solvers. Highly recommended!

Ricky and his dad were so easy to work with. They came by before performing the job to see what supplies they would need and to look at the space. They explained everything that needed to be done and gave us an estimate beforehand for the job as well as the supplies. On the day of, they showed up on time. The job was completed quickly and better than we had hoped. They took what we thought was a hopeless task and did it. We had to wall heaters removed and needed the holes patched up. There was old paneling that needed to be matched, and somehow they were able to almost perfectly match the existing paneling. They even sanded the edges to give the wood a rounded look. We may sand the area down a bit more just to make it more flush, but overall we are very happy with the quality of the work. We will definitely contact Valenz Construction if we have any other jobs around the house. See the before and after pics of the downstairs wall. It's so nice to no longer have a huge unwanted opening in our walls. Thanks guys!
