FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Believe it or not, wedding officiant is a competitive industry! As someone who is newer to weddings, I am doing my best to keep my pricing affordable. Weddings can be costly even going the more simple terms. So I am happy to offer affordable pricing. As far as discounts go if you are military, law enforcement, work in a hospital, an educator, or are a paramedic/emt I offer a 15% discount. I do want people to know that there could be travel fees associated with being your officiant as well. While the base price is $300 there many factors that could cause that to increase, including travel fees. If you are wanting me to be a part of your day but you are more then 40 miles away from Victorville there will be travel fees. Those, of course, are dependent on how far you are. And I do my best to keep those as reasonable as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing, and actually one of the most important I believe, is getting to know the couple. I can't be an effective officiant without this critical step. And so once we have a sit down face to face meeting (in-person preferred, but virtual is a possibility), then the next step is to come to an agreement to have me as your officiant. Then a contract would need to be signed and a retainer deposit paid. At that point the script and other details are worked on. Every step of the way working with the couple to ensure that the ceremony is a special and unique as we can make it!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
No specific education or training, except every wedding gets more experience. I love people and I love talking so this is a perfect mix of both! I have worked in customer service for many years and well I talk to different people almost every day for most of my life!
