- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first thing we do is discuss the client's goals and ideas. Some people have no idea what training with a personal trainer is involved. I want them to be comfortable with the process and with me. We will do an evaluation. It is vey simple process. I go by a questionnaire and postural assessment first. Injury history is also involved if any. We have to deal with getting the clients body to respond. From there we keep a record of improvements if desired.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been in the health and fitness industry for over 18 years. I attended California State University Northridge and received my degree in Kinesiology in the field of Exercise Science. I'm currently increasing my knowledge in corrective exercise to minimize injuries related to muscle imbalance. i.e. how to balance out the body to reduce injuries.
