- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For local moves with have 3 options: the first option is the basic moving service when we normally send 3 men team (optional for less or more movers) with a truck and moving equipment. We charge by the hourly rate with 15 minutes increments after the 3 hours minimum. The 2nd option is full packing service, when we normally sending minimum 3 men team with a truck, moving equipment and packing material to pack up everything. The 3rd option is labor only. When we send the movers only (optional with dolly's and tools) and we charge based upon the hourly rate. Long distance moves are charged by weight. We weight the truck before and after loading up the shipment to find out the exact amount of weight. We can provide an estimated weight with an accurate list of items.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1st thing we need to know if it is a local or long distance move. From where to where the customer is moving. Then to fit the right number of movers for the job, we need to know how many bedrooms they moving from, if there is any stairs, elevator of long walk from the front door to where we can park the truck. Then we need to know if the customers need full packing service or just the basic service when we wrap the furniture, disassemble and reassemble.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The owner has been working in the moving industry for 24 years now. All the movers that work with the company have anywhere between 10 to 20 years of experience.
