- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our rates begin at $109/hour. Payments by way of Thumbtack, Credit/Debit Cards, ApplePay, Cash, PayPal, or Zelle are accepted. Prices vary from one company to another, but that doesn't mean the cost will be lower elsewhere by the end of your move. Our team is experienced, professional, and efficient. We're going to provide excellent service throughout. I am upfront about our prices, and will fully discuss the details of your move, so everything is clear before your decide on which company to choose. Your Move includes: Two (or more) Professional Movers (additional movers as needed, +$50 per hour per additional team-member) + Box truck with all equipment and tools. We can bring multiple trucks if it's a larger move (no additional charge). Double-drive time applies between your origin and your destination (all movers in CA required to charge this for local moves). Heavy item fee applies on some items moving via stairs and discussed ahead of time. Full service moving: including but not limited to: moving blankets, wardrobe boxes provided, assembly/disassembly, etc. - no hidden charges, and we do provide materials and moving supplies at reasonable prices on an as/if needed basis. Larger moves are best handled with additional movers: 3 movers = $159/hour, 4 movers: $209/hour, 5 movers: $259/hour, 6 movers $309/hour. We collect a $100 deposit to secure your move time and date. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our mission is to ensure the best possible move experience. We are detailed and responsive and send an estimate up front (no charge or obligation) for your review. We also provide a Booklet about Your Rights as a Consumer of Moving Services, materials pricing, information about insurance detailing the coverage provided for your belongings.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have experience as a household mover. Following college (I have a BA in English from Portland State University) I worked in the supply chain/logistics industry in various roles.
