Steve’s been a great guitar teacher. He’s very professional, punctual and patient. The most important he makes the lesson fun and engaging. Definetly will recommend him to anyone who wants to learn to play the guitar!

Very to the point and knowledgeable about the instrument. He obviously has studied the guitar for a long time and knowing that makes the lessons comfortable and effective.

Jake is really flexible with learning styles and tailors his lessons depending on what you want to learn. He hones in on what it is you’re trying to learn, whether it’s music theory, guitar mechanics or simply learning a song. And of course, he’s a fantastic guitar player.

Chris is an amazing teacher. I started taking guitarlessons as a beginner. He is patient and talented at conveying his knowledge. After taking my initial lesson I booked several in advance right away because I feel comfortable with his way of teaching.

I’ve been taking remote guitarlessons with Trevor for almost two years and have had a fantastic experience. Trevor is such a thoughtful, caring, patient, and engaged teacher, who provides a well-rounded approach to learning how to play guitar and is proactive to customize the learning experience to your unique needs and interests as a student. Trevor goes above and beyond to be helpful and tailor the experience to you, in terms of working toward your goals and learning the style of guitar you're interested in. Trevor has a knack for explaining confusing concepts such as music theory in easy to understand forms, is as great at catching ways you can improve your playing such as your hand positioning as a teacher whose in the room with you, and is able to provide zoom video recaps at the end of lesson so that you can take what you learned and practice it in between lessons. Trevor has exceeded my expectations and I can’t recommend him enough to anyone looking to improve their skills at all levels. I've plateaued at playing guitar for decades and our lessons have translated into me seeing notable progress in writing guitar parts for the first time, which was one of my biggest goals -- thats one of many reasons I can say the return on investment is high when it comes to taking lessons with Trevor.

Brian is an incredibly knowledgable of the guitar and a phenomenal teacher. He is easily able to decipher where you are within your guitar journey and how to help you progress to the point you'd like. Each session is well organized and encouraging. He is punctual, humble and a patient teacher. I look forward to continuing lessons with him and learning more!

Fred was a great teacher. He taught me the basic fundamentals on guitar playing and I definitely feel I've progressed very quickly within one month from having lessons with him.

I would highly recommend Matt to anyone looking to take guitarlessons! He’s very helpful and patient with everything we go through and is always super encouraging and motivating as well! He also provides notes and videos after each lesson which are so useful to study and have personally helped me so much that I’ve incorporated the videos he’s sent into my own daily practice routine. I’ve learned so much more than I knew before about playing guitar in just the short amount of time I’ve been taking lessons with Matt so I’m already very satisfied and grateful and can’t wait for the improvements yet to come! :)

If teaching is an art, this guy is Michaelangelo. He is a very good guitar player, but a fantastic teacher. In my opinion thats better than having a rediculously talented guitar player that doesnt know how to teach. And thats not to say that Mike isnt good, hes great! A nice guy, very reasonable, but he gets down to business when its lesson time, which is nice. Rad dude.

Chris is an amazing teacher. He really doesn’t like to mess around. Learning how to play the guitar is not an easy task at all, but after just a few lessons with Chris I can guarantee that you’ll feel more confident in your ability.

Steph is a great guitarist and a great teacher and just a blast to hang around with and learn guitar. We worked together pre-covid and during covid remotely. I'm getting back into the groove again and will again ping Steph for lessons. Can't recommend her enough.

So far I've only had one lesson with Steve but I'm already so excited to begin this journey. Having played guitar for many years on and off being self-taught, it was an incredibly rewarding experience to finally learn the concepts behind what I was playing.
In just one lesson I already feel like I'm beginning to fill crucial gaps in my foundational knowledge and that's a testament to Steve's teaching style. He's extremely attentive and receptive to how I'm playing and will adjust his lesson based on what I'm doing well and what I'm struggling with. When you're learning anything whether it's math or guitar, instructional ability is just as important as expertise and Steve definitely has demonstrated that he has both. Looking forward to continuing to grow my skills with him!

Chris should change his last name from Rockaway to RockSTAR.
I’ve taken plenty of guitarlessons from others over the years, but no one had the seemingly psychic ability to assess my playing and prescribe a set of customized exercises the way Chris does.
It’s like he knows exactly what you need to stop feeling like a poser and actually get good at guitar.
Chris pays full attention to you throughout the lessons, and you won’t feel like he’d rather be somewhere else (wouldn’t we all rather be headlining Coachella??!)
Book with Chris now before he realizes he’s not charging half as much as he should be.
You will not regret it.

I recently moved to LA and had two lessons so far with Lloyd. I have some previous guitar experience, but not much. I wanted to learn a combination of theory and songs, and Lloyd has been giving me a great mix of both. It is refreshing to find a teacher who can articulate principles of music theory in a fun way!
Telesmar has been an excellent teacher in my few months of taking lessons with him. He makes a genuine effort to understand the goals of his students while presenting them with material relevant to their skill levels and interests. Having studied under many jazz guitarists in the past, I can easily say Telesmar has been the best and most concise teacher I've worked with. He is also an incredibly talented and humble guitarist and friendly person. Would recommend to anyone beginning to advanced who wants to further their knowledge on the guitar.

Steve is an amazing and brilliant teacher. I am in my 50's and decided to pick up guitar. I had tried other teachers but it just didn't click until I met Steve. He is fantastic and within a few weeks I was playing some songs and learning a lot about music. I cant say enough about what a great teacher he is.....I look forward to every lesson and I am progressing each time. Who says "you cant teach an old dog new tricks"...Thanks Steve!

I took my first lesson with Steve on Thursday 6/1/17. I'm very happy with him and his approach to teaching the guitar. I've been playing for many years and I know where my short comings are with the basics. Steve is helping me stay focused and rebuild my foundation. Plus he's teaching me how to read music. Which I know will be priceless in the long run with this or any instrument. We are keeping it simple and focus on reading music, music theory and the application of what I already know, but now connecting not just know how to play but the why behind the notes, chords, scales, modes, etc. I feel like a beginner all over again and I'm looking forward to each weeks new lesson. I feel like I've got a capable guide to help me along the way, at and affordable price as well.

I decided to give guitarlessons another try after being self taught and feeling very limited in what I’d been able to teach myself, which is, admittedly… not a whole lot. I have to say, Mike is an absolute joy to work with and a wonderful teacher. I’m only on my 3rd lesson, but I can see clear improvement with my playing and I feel like I’ve learned so much already (and its not overwhelming, its just fun). My lessons with him have quickly become the highlight of my week and I find myself truly looking forward to my next lessons. I’ve tried a few teachers in the past but they never really seemed to understand I wanted to learn my instrument- not just a few songs to have in my back pocket. Of course learning songs is the ultimate goal, but I truly appreciate that Mike takes the time to use songs in order to teach the instrument itself and goes beyond just learning how to play some chords around the campfire that sound good. He also took the time to learn what I wanted to get out of my lessons and took into account the styles of music I wanted to play. He’s unbelievably patient, kind, clear, organized and supportive (which is huge for me because building up confidence with my playing is a major goal of mine). I just can’t say enough about how awesome he is and I feel like the sky is the limit with my playing now that I have found someone who is so knowledgeable and obviously loves being a teacher. Trust me, he rocks.
