FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
$19 half hour +$10 each additional dog $30 hour +$15 Each additional dog $65 overnights +$20 each additional dog Additional services available upon request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers receive an invitation to use our mobile app where they can fill out profile details about their home and their pets. I will then do a meet and greet with them and their pets. Our mobile app is used for messaging, payments, walker tracking and scheduling. It's easy to use and does a great job of helping us keep track. Before any of our employees are sent to the home solo, I will accompany them for each visit until I am satisfied they understand the needs of that particular household and are up to the task. We also offer meet and greets with our walkers and clients upon request. We try to train as few walkers as possible on one household and establish regular schedules so that pets see a familiar face each time they are walked. Most households have 2-3 regular walkers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
This is my third successful small business, and by far the largest and most enjoyable. Over the years my empathy for my clients has been my strong point, and I have a knack for employing systems and failsafes to ensure each job is done the right way every time. My wife, Sarah, who runs the back end of the company, worked professionally as a logistics manager for a company with hundreds of users. She not only managed countless scheduling tasks, but also acted as international travel liason for the company's executives. She can find you a reliable sherpa in Nepal, the best noodle house in Laos, a cab in Bucharest- she can also manage tight schedules for 5 different walkers driving and walking all over the Vallejo, Benicia and American Canyon areas.
