Jason and his crew were great! I don't have solar and don't want to undergo the hassle and expense, but after my fourth summer in the area hemorrhaging money on air-conditioning, I had to do something. I did a little research and found out that a lot of modern homes lack proper insulation which could address some of my problem. So I called Insulation Commandos. Jason came out and assessed my attic. He indicated that the insulation I had wasn't as thick as it should be and mentioned that I could also add a special protective barrier between my rafters that would keep more of the outside heat or cold from entering. He seemed genuine and wasn't pushy in the least, so, I hired him on the spot and within a week he and his crew were done. I've already noticed a difference. With the weather cooling, I've had to run the heat at night and in the mornings on occasion but since the insulation, the temperature in my house seems much more regulated and I haven't had to run it. I'm in no rush for the summer months to return, but when they do, I'll be excited to see the difference this makes on my energy bill.
