I couldn't be happier with Troy and highly recommend him. We had a custom front exterior hung door crafted and during the months we waited for the door, our original installer recommended by the builder moved away. I knew jobs like this always entail the unexpected so I wanted someone with specific experience dealing with exterior doors, well rated, and professional enough to adapt to whatever comes, as we would only get one shot. As it turns out, there were a number of issues to be dealt with; the measurements of the door were so exact that the door frame had to be planed to even fit in the hole. Our wall wasn't exactly plumb nor was the hole exactly centered, so he had to adapt to make it fit best in the circumstances which he did exceptionally well. Our exterior is stucco and luckily we chose wider molding fearing some would break away. What hadn't been factored in was that the stucco wasn't evenly applied from top to bottom. Troy made a special trip to purchase some similar oak, and custom fit the moldings as only a fine finish carpenter can do. My wife was dubious about the entire door project from the start and even she is exceptionally happy. I plan to pass Troy's name to our builder. I'll note Troy was not the least expensive bid I received, but he was competitive and worth every penny. In fact we tipped him 20% for the additional effort. (My wife was very pleased that they were continually and conscientiously cleaning the work area). I can see why his reviews are all 5 stars - he earns them.
