FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge by the hour - depending on how long I shoot for you will determine final price. Anyone who has lived in either San Francisco or Hawaii will receive a 10% discount.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
At Matsuda Productions, our process for working with new customers is designed to ensure a seamless and collaborative experience. Here’s how it works: 1. Initial Consultation: We begin with an in-depth conversation to understand your vision, goals, and specific needs for the project. Whether it’s a product shoot, wedding, or concept video, we want to know what’s important to you and how we can bring that to life through photography or videography. 2. Proposal & Planning: Based on the consultation, we create a detailed proposal outlining the scope of work, pricing, and timeline. This is also the stage where we assist with location scouting, particularly for engagement, boudoir, or concept video shoots, ensuring the setting aligns with the style you’re aiming for. 3. Creative Collaboration: Once we’re aligned, we work closely with you to fine-tune the creative direction. This could include mood boards, styling tips, and selecting props or elements (like the fruits and flowers in our tea product shoot) that will enhance the overall aesthetic of the shoot. 4. Shoot Day: On the day of the shoot, our goal is to make you feel comfortable and confident. Whether it’s a commercial product or a candid moment during a wedding, we approach every shot with precision and creativity, ensuring we capture the best visuals possible. 5. Post-Production: After the shoot, we meticulously edit the images or video, ensuring every detail aligns with your vision. We’ll deliver a set number of edited photos or a finished video, but also offer the option to purchase additional edits if needed. 6. Final Delivery: Once post-production is complete, we provide the final images or video in the format you need—whether for social media, websites, or print—and ensure you’re completely satisfied with the results. Our process is designed to be collaborative, creative, and flexible, so you can feel confident that your project will be handled with care and professionalism from start to finish.
