FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Much of the products and services that IE provides requires various levels of research, development, and consultation. Therefore, our prices often include time gathering information along with the provision of the products and services we provide. That is why we complete a needs assessment before coming to a service agreement (SA).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our IE Process of working with new customers is, first, conducting a customer needs assessment, which indicates the type of project, number of pages, budget, deadlines, and other data needed to determine if IE and the client can meet a fair service agreement. Fortunately, acquiring business through Thumbtack, some of the first step is done. Second, per the SA, we setup a statement of work (SOW), making sure to not miss any steps, particularly for projects that take at least a month to complete. For small projects, the timeline is between 24 hours and 1 week, as long as all information from the client is provided and nothing is pending their delivery to move forward in completing the job. Once the SA is signed by both parties, a retainer fee is paid. This is usually half of the quote. The other half is paid when the job is completed. This payment schedule is negotiable and usually applies to more extensive projects.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The IE owner believes in education and training. While much of the knowledge that is encompassed at IE has been acquired through hard work and experience, the highest level level of education attained is a Ph.D in Christian Education along with an MBA in Organizational Leadership. Continuing education is at the forefront of providing premier services, always enhancing the services provided and a progressive business model.
