Didn’t show up on original agreed date so I followed up to find out he was booked and my project wasnt worth his time if its free unless he’s 100% not busy. There was confusion on what quote really meant because when I saw “$0 on site estimate” on his profile I thought it meant he would come to my house to tell me what the problem is for free and how much it would cost to fix the problem. Apparently that would be considered troubleshooting and “no electricians trouble shoot for free.” He explained a quote would be telling someone how much it costs to fix a light switch, panel, etc. Since my power has been out a week I found an electrician that does offer free troubleshooting so it worked out for me. My advice for this company is to make sure you understand what a quote really entails so you don’t waste your time.

The electrician called when he was on his way to my residence which I really appreciated. He arrived earlier than originally scheduled which was great. I didn't have to spend all afternoon waiting for him to arrive. He assembled my new light fixture and installed it all within an hour or so and cleaned up the work area when he was finished. I am very satisfied with his work and what I was charged. I will definitely call Barnhart Electric if I need any electrical repairs made in the future.

Better than I ever could have expected since I had no prior experience with this contractor. I looked them up on the internet and saw they we're licensed and bonded. That's a must for me. But above all that, Kevin the electrician was on time, professional, courteous, clean, knowledgeable in his craft and successfully completed all the diagnostics and repairs in an acceptable amount of time. Kevin also cleaned up each of several work areas and the billing process was painless. The hourly rate was fair market. I give a 5 star and for me, that is very rare. Jesse is great! Will definitely use him again in the future. Needed two new ceiling fans installed and one was not as easy. Jesse had to go up in the attic on a day that is headed to 109 temperature mind you, and then had to have an electrician come out to double check what was going on up there. It is an old house and heaven knows what has been done. Needless to say they got it figured out quickly and were able to get the fan installed and the light works too (last one was just a fan)! Very happy with the service. Highly recommend Jesse. Fair, honest, reasonable....what more could you ask for!

I just purchased a house(house was built in 1961) and was cooking my first meal when I lost all power to the west side of my house. I immediately went on thumbtack to find an electrician and found Felipe. I sent a message to Felipe around 9:00pm on a Friday night requesting his services, Felipe got back to me almost immediately and we made an arrangement for Felipe to come to my new house. Felipe arrived the next morning just to find I had tripped a breaker, well that crisis was averted but it was a wake up call that I needed to replace some wiring and change my largely 2 prong outlets housewide to grounded, dedicated lines(3 prong outlets). Felipe walked through what he thought needed done and I told Felipe what I wanted in relation to the kitchen(more outlets, can there be too many in a kitchen?). The price to replace the wiring throughout the entire house was very pricey and above my budget, but Felipe told me what we needed to do right now and what could wait. The items that we decided I could wait on saved me $2400, which was great. Felipe gave me a final bid, he offers a 10 year guarantee, and could have his guys at my house Monday morning with a deposit of 10% towards updates. He and his guys arrived promptly Monday morning and began working. They did an excellent job! They protected the area around each area and cleaned up every bit of any mess they made. After they left it was if they had never been there except that I had new outlets! I have found my go to electrician in Felipe. Excellent work guys!
