Introduction
I became an interior architectural designer after going through a health scare with two of my loved ones. It astounded me how the architecture and design affected my sense of security and calm over their care. I feel deeply that good interior design and architecture improves ones life. I chose to leave my career in health care to go into design because of this experience and the abiding desire to help people through design. I haven’t been doing this long but am putting my heart into it. Thank you for giving me a chance.

Review of mom’s apt.
Not long ago, I moved my grandma into an assisted living facility where she had a very small studio apartment. It looked like all we’d have room for would be her bed. The thought of her returning to an apartment with only a bed in it broke my heart. We asked Kathy if there’d be any way to fit a chair and TV in with her bed and she wowed us. She managed to fit three fully fleshed out rooms in this tiny studio apartment. When my grandma came back to her apartment she had several places to lounge, not just a bed. I don’t know how Kathy did it but, she put a full bedroom suit, a full living room with enough seating that we could all pile in for a movie ~ and storage. Next to the kitchenette she created a dining room. There was something about the custom art Kathy painted on the wall, next to the table, that turned that area into a really homey spot to tuck in for some puzzle time. I really can’t thank Kathy enough for creating a home for my grandma. Kathy was easy to work with, she was a good listener, kind, organized, and communicative throughout the whole process.
I would recommend her to my friends and other family members.
