My fiancee and I had never gotten professional pictures done before and were so nervous to take our engagement photos but Mattea changed all of that! She made us feel so comfortable and were so so happy with the way our photos turned out. Would definitely use her again and would recommend to any of our family and friends!

If I could leave more than 5 stars- I would. Her professionalism allowed for a productive and fun photo session. She was easy to connect with and created a very comfortable environment. We found Mattea by chance and we are so glad we did! For our small wedding of just 14 people, we wanted candid photos to really capture the intimacy of the moment. My husband prepared our mood board, which was very film inspired and Mattea took the time to carefully go over it with us. And BOY did she deliver to our mood board. We could not recommend her enough.

The survey would only let me choose up to three words, but I would say all of them apply equally. Value, Responsiveness, Work Quality, Punctuality, and Professionalism. Matter did my son and daughter-in-law’s engagement pictures and their wedding photos. I was amazed at the quality of the pics. She did a wonderful job capturing them the couple. For the wedding photos I’ve only seen the preview pics and they are outstanding! I cannot wait to see them all. For the day of the wedding she was calm and relaxed (at least it seemed that way to me), was very gracious to me. I was in the way a lot trying to take pictures of my own. Then I would notice she was already in position and taking the pics! I felt bad about being in the way, she never made me feel like I was in the way. She really does go above and beyond. I’m so grateful my daughter-in-law chose her. I highly recommend her!

I've been in business for about a decade. I'm completely self- taught and have learned everything I know from experience!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started a fashion blog back in 2014, and took a lot of photos of my friends' outfits. Over time I just learned to love being behind the camera! Being in front of the camera has helped form who I am as a photographer as I quickly learned flattering poses and how to work with props and various scenes.
