As a professional photographer, I've shot everything from United Airlines flights and events to getting hired by the Obama Foundation to be President Obama's personal photographer, featured on his Instagram account and in People Magazine online. I am also the South Bay photographer for the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative.
I honed my skills over the past two decades traveling to over 25 countries with my camera, shooting in a vast variety of settings, from street photography in India to monasteries in China and events all over Europe and the US.
My specialty is photography that captures candid, organic moments – the kinds of photos that bring back powerful memories for years to come. We hired David to photograph our small wedding on the beach in Pacific Grove and we couldn't be happier with his work! A handful of our family commented on how great his energy was and I totally agree. As someone who doesn't love having their photo taken David made my husband and I feel at ease and kept the atmosphere very playful and fun. David also was great with shooting us in the right lighting which wasn't easy on a sunny day at 2pm but the pictures all came out beautifully. He's great with kids too and getting them to look at the camera and smile. David is a true professional and you can tell he really loves what he does. We absolutely recommend hiring David Poznic Photography your event!

David was an absolute pleasure to work with! I've never worked with a photographer who is as professional yet as fun to work with. He truly seems to enjoy his line of work, which was so refreshing to be around. His photos were breathtaking and so clear, and his editing skills were top tier. I wish I could give David more than 5 stars. We hired him to photograph a couple's photoshoot at a park followed by our U.S. wedding reception that same evening. From the moment I messaged him on this app, he was responsive and informative. After we hired him, he scheduled a Zoom session with us to discuss the type of photos we wanted for our couple's shoot and the itinerary for the reception. He provided a lot of thoughtful suggestions so that he could capture the best pictures possible, such as bringing props to the photoshoot to show our fun side. He also provided insightful ideas about the reception photography, such as using plenty of string lights and for the sparker sendoff, using non-smoky sparklers and making sure that we had plenty of buckets of water nearby. On the day of the photoshoot and reception, he arrived at the park 30 minutes early to scope out the best backdrops. He made us feel at easy and made us laugh throughout the photoshoot. He had great ideas for how to pose and what backgrounds looked best. The photographs from both the photoshoot and reception turned out beautifully. We couldn't have asked for better pictures. The composition, lighting, colors, exposure are impeccable. Not only that, he has a knack for capturing photographs of people at the perfect moment - his photos candidly captured people's emotions and tell a story. The cherry on top of the cake was that he sent us all of the processed photos within two days of the reception, even though he had another wedding the day after ours!
David is truly one in a million. I will definitely hire him again if I need a photographer and I would recommend him to my closest friends and family.

It was indeed an extraordinary experience to have Mr. Poznic take pictures of my 22 year old daughter now that she is graduating college. He showed dedication, the love for the profession, and attended to my daughter's wishes with ease. I was blown away when I saw the pictures - he just captures the moment in such a natural yet beautiful and harmonious way. He is truly an amazing photographer! I highly recommend Mr. Poznic for any type of event. I will most definitely be hiring Mr. Poznic in the future:)

As a bride, I will be the first to admit that I spent hours (okay, days-weeks!) researching photographers, gazing at Vogue and Bride Weddings, and scrolling through photographer's instagrams. I had high expectations for what I wanted. I was initially drawn to David's portfolio because I was looking for photos that tell a story with a more documentary-style photography vibe.
David blew it out of the water! We truly cannot rave enough about him. He clearly has an artistic eye, and the resulting photos are absolutely stunning. We knew our wedding was beautiful, but it's like a whole new world seeing it through the lens of David's camera! He will do anything for the perfect shot, including scaling the side of a cliff! But more than that, the entire process, from first contacts to receiving the photos, was a most enjoyable, easy experience. He is a joy to work with, is both positive and energetic but also very calming, is efficient, prompt, dependable AND fun! Our bridal/grooms party, our parents, and numerous guests who have since seen his photos are gushing over his photography skills and asking for his contact information.
On top of that, his speed of sending us a TON of photos as a sneak peek and our final album was truly impressive. I had multiple friends reaching out in awe, wondering how I possibly could have all my wedding photos back so quickly after the wedding.
We did not know David before our wedding and found him by chance online, but I can say with 100% confidence that David will forever be our go-to photographer for any life events (or who knows--maybe just for fun!).
If you've read this far, seriously--don't think any longer. Just book him.
