Michael Asmar provided two photographers (Michael Asmar and Matt) for a family 90th birthday party over the course of 4 hours. The job included both posed and candid photos.
Both photographers were personable in interacting with individuals at the party. Their presence was non-intrusive.
Michael is very professional in working with clients. He is punctual and excellent in maintaining communication before and after the event. I highly recommend Joie de Vivre Photographie.

Michael and his staff we're very professional. At our first meeting we mentioned our budget for our wedding photos and we wanted a lot of special moments to be captured professionally. That is exactly what joie de vivre photographie did for us! They are a great team to work with and we have all our wedding photos on a disc for a lifetime of memories from our special day.

We had a family portrait done for our 25th anniversary and our daughter's senior college photos. Michael was available to work with our schedule with 3 grown children, two going to school out of state and one living in Dana Point. He was prompt, courteous, and service was excellent. When he came to my house to show the photos, he was very professional and showed the photos on a large screen computer. He delivered the portraits and photos promptly and gave us a complimentary upgrade on out daughter's senior portrait. Michael is very reliable, prompt, and professional and it has been a pleasure doing business with him.

We had our wedding a couple of weeks ago and Joie de Vivre Photographie did an amazing job, they capture every minute of the day and we had plenty of pictures to choose from. Not only did they get on film the beauty of the location, the happiness everybody was sharing and all the small details of the day, We had our proofs a couple of days after our wedding!!! I highly recommend Joie de Vivre Photographie for any special occasion.

My wedding took place in the evening in San Francisco. I already knew that getting photos taken after the ceremony might be tricky outside of the beautiful Victorian home we were in. Even though it was dark outside, the pictures our photographer, Michael, took came out spectacular. He captured every element of the venue, pre-shots, ceremony, and reception. I had a slight embarrassing "malfunction" with my dress in some photos. At my request, the photographer was able to go through and edit and reproduce all of the affected photos in a timely manner. Michael really saved the day, went above and beyond, and gave us an outstanding product and great service!
