I hired Onwards Collective (Lauren) to film our wedding, and I could not be happier with this decision because she absolutely nailed it! I was referred to her by a friend, and after doing a preliminary phone consultation, we met up in person and went through all the details. She is incredibly thorough in her preparation and asks all the right questions to ensure she captures the day exactly as you want it, both from a creative and technical perspective. She had me send examples of wedding videos that I liked, and explain what I liked about them, so she could be sure to match the vibe I was going for. This was so appreciated! On the day of the wedding, her confidence as a filmmaker really shined through. She didn't hesitate to insert herself into situations to capture every moment, either big or small. She brought a positive attitude and was such a lovely presence to be around, which helped us feel comfortable in front of the camera. I felt like she was so excited to be part of this special day with us. The footage turned out amazing and we are so thankful. Our only regret is that we didn't book her for longer!! Thank you, Lauren, for everything! <3

I've been working with creative people for 35 years, and Lauren Donohue (Onwards Collective) is the _best_ person I have ever worked with in all that time. Not only is she talented, intelligent, and dynamic, she is able to work through the complications in your project, business, or organization and help you concentrate on how her creative services (film, video, and photography) can help you achieve your goals. I had what I thought was an excellent project that was well-thought-out (using YouTube, TikTok, and Insta videos to help people understand history better). I brought Lauren in to help me with the video end of things, thinking that I only needed a camera operator and video editor. But Lauren was able to see the holes and pitfalls in my plans, and suggest much better ways that her video production would succeed for me. It not only worked for the specific video end of my project, but her plans and strategies also helped me come up with better ways to make my overall project ("history for the public") better, and how to make the work less stressful for me! Lauren's consultancy fees are the best money I've spent in a very long time.
