Jose is the best. He was on time and got to work right away. He even repaired some old cabinet doors that three other handyman could not fix. I highly recommend him. He does not shit around super knowledgeable in all of my projects for him.

**note: He was punctual AND flexible, as well as quick to respond but I could only choose three. Let me start by saying that he was the third person that I hired to complete the same job. I needed a 10 x 12 shed built in my backyard which needed a foundation. The type of ground that I have in my backyard is very hard, like clay. it requires a very specific type of foundation other than the one included in the instructions. The first person that I hired didn’t show up. The second person I hired who I believe goes by IKEA assembly pros on this app showed up four hours late, and only spoke Russian. He did not have the experience needed to do this job and in fact I had to pay him for a day of work just to start over. When Jose arrived, he was not only on time, but he assessed the situation and in perfect English explained to me that the process that was suggested in the instructions, was not the safe way to make the foundation for the shed. He told me that he didn’t feel comfortable building it that way, and that I was welcome to try to find another person who would, but that he wanted to make sure that me and my family were safe. He was also the first person to acknowledge the fact that this is a two person job. I had a lot of respect for his honesty, which he gave me in a very kind and professional manner. While my friends took a trip to Home Depot to get the correct materials, he and the other worker started immediately prepping the area. They had the job done only in a few hours and far exceeded my expectations. they also cleaned up every bit of trash and debris from my yard, including things that were left by other people, and they set out the materials to complete the shed in a way that would make it easier for me and my roommates to put it up. He even told us exactly how to do it and gave us some really good tips! Finding a handyman or contractors that provide top-notch work for a very good value is almost impossible to find nowadays. I will be hiring him again and again for every job possible in the future.

Jose was outstanding! He arrived on time, worked quickly, and managed to help me with 3 different projects (wall features removal, toilet installation, and carpet removal) all in about 6 hours. He also cleaned up the areas he worked on, gave me advice about some other house things, and hauled away all of the stuff that needed to be thrown out. I very much appreciate Hernandez Handyman!
