FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Considered in pricing DJ playtime, rental cost for my equipment, the labor of loading, traveling and setting up equipment and other costs such as insurance.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I like to go over all of the details of the event. Type of event, venue location, time length, type of music desired. Then when I have that information I offer a quote. Once we agree I draft a contract and client puts down a deposit. From there I might recommend an in person meeting to review music and itinerary. After this part I’m open to any communication, but should have everything I need to carry on with serving the event. Final payments are usually made by event date.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been in the nightlife industry for over ten years and customer service for almost 20. I’ve had my own art gallery and catering company in the past so I’m well acquainted with serving clients. I also recently worked in radio. My musical library is wide ranged and includes over 50,000 songs.
