- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We price out the coatings based upon square footage of the floors, stairs and side walls. In addition, the amount of repairs needed and type of flooring will add to the cost. We often will run Home Show and Car Show discounts when customers visit our booth. We proudly offer Military and Senior Citizen discounts.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We prefer to have our Lead Installer come on-site to give you a quote so the we can physically verify the condition of the concrete, evaluate any cracking or pitting, measure area for coating, perform moisture test and check the hardness of the concrete. Next, we will take back the measurement information and email a quote withing a couple of hours. This will include your choice of coating with a breakdown of all costs minus any applied discounts. Our team will follow up within a day or so to ensure you received the quote and answer any questions you may have. They will be ready to schedule the installation date at your convenience. Finally is the day of transformation. Our team will show up in the morning to begin preparing the ground for coating. Installation usually takes one day depending on external factors such as weather, product choices and location.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team has several years of experience in the coatings industry prior to joining the Garage Kings family. Each installer gets formal training from the Master Trainers from the GK Headquarters. These trainers will also shadow new installers on there first three jobs to ensure their competency on the finished product. Each year, installers also attend GKU which is a training conference where we hone our technique and learn how to improve customer satisfaction.
