Jorge called to say he would be a bit late (20 minutes) and he arrived at his new time. He was courteous, put on shoe liners as it was wet outside. He looked at the toilet and put his phone underneath to see if he could spot the leak. Flushing the toilet he could not generate any leaks. I asked him to lift the toilet from the floor and he contacted the office. It would cost $250 to pull the toilet and install a new floor gasket (not including the gasket). I said "no" and he asked for the $40 inspection fee. I informed him that on Thumbtack they offer the inspection for $4 (see attached screenshot). He waived the fee. I contacted Legacy plumbing & rooter and they were able to send someone out the same day to look at the problem. My sprinkler system was flooding my yard, and he was able to fix the problem quickly.
