My experience learning Korean from Jihye has been amazing. She is patient, knowledgeable, and fun. I was initially nervous because was my first time Korean but she was very kind and made me feel comfortable. Her lessons are well structured and it’s clear that she has a lot of experience. I feel like my vocabulary and pronunciation has improved so much with Jihye’s guidance. I highly recommend taking classes with Jihye. You won’t be disappointed.

I have had a fair amount of Korean teachers in the past, and Jihye is hands down the best one. She is super patient with me and I also appreciate how she doesn’t brush over my mistakes (whether it be grammar or pronunciation) but takes the time to correct me in a kind and helpful way. I also noticed improvement in my speaking ability through practicing with her, which was my main goal!

Jihye is a really nice teacher. She helps me feel confident in my ability to learn a new language as an adult. She’s flexible with scheduling and encourages me. I’ve really enjoyed working with her and will continue with her in the future. She makes it fun to practice Korean too.

I have taken piano classes with Jihye for over several years. She demands effort from her students and commitment. Because of her patience, encouragement and insight I continue to progress on becoming better at playing the piano. She has been flexible and allowed me to choose the pieces I want to play and suggested good learning materials for my lessons. I highly recommend.
