I can enthusiastically recommend Steve Chui and his company, Kinetic Construction. My wife and I hired Steve to undertake a partial kitchen remodel that involved destroying existing tile so a new countertop could be laid, installing a backsplash, electrical, plumbing, painting and assorted other elements. Steve and his crew were great. First of all, Steve came in with a very fair bid and as we went through the process, there were no surprises. We were very pleased that the only change orders that came up were all items that we decided to add, and in all cases, the price Steve quoted was very fair. Steve was very focused and always one step ahead of the process. He identified issues early, getting our decision, solving small and large items that came up. He made some excellent recommendations along the way that improved the final outcome. The quality of the workmanship was very high. Our backsplash was complex, involving glass tiles inside ceramic tiles. The workmanship and attention to detail of his crew were amazing. It was the same with the painting and every other detailvery precise and careful. He and his crew also coordinated easily with the countertop layers, the stove installers and all the other folks who were in and out through the process. The end results were beautiful and we were thrilled with the final product. We know we could have paid a lot more but doubt we could have gotten a better kitchen. The logistics as we went through the remodel were also surprisingly easy. The workers were there when we were told they would be there. They were neat, quiet, and cleaned up every evening. Steve was always available, whether or not he was on site. He was always straightforward and easy to deal with. We always knew exactly what was happening. The whole experience was all much less stressful than we had anticipated. Our entire experience with Kinetic Construction was very favorable and we would highly recommend the company to others. We have since used Steve for a number of other smaller jobs, both electrical, plumbing and painting. It is always a pleasure. His team is always precise and neat, always on time. And Steve is very responsive. Once when we had a plumbing emergency with our disposal, he rushed over on a Saturday night and saved the day. But the best part is that Steve is such a smart and resourceful guy. He always comes up with the easiest, most efficient and thus most cost effective way to get you the result you are looking for and always with an end result of the highest standard. We are big fans!

Steve did a good job in replacing my backyard fence, about 32 feet long. It was completed on schedule with good quality of work. The place was kept clean after the project was finished. His team work was impressive. Instead of a P.O.Box #, I would suggest Steve include a real business address in his contractor license and business card. This should enhance customer confidence in his business.
