Introduction
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Juan Torres and for the past 17 years I have been working in some of San Francisco's best restaurant's. Since the age of 19, I have been in profesional kitchens, learning under great Chefs. I am classically trained, in French, Spanish, and Mediterranean cuisine. Currently I am the Executive Chef of Lolinda Steakhouse and El Techo de Lolinda our rooftop restaurant.
Culinary graduate, and expert in cooking for offsite events.

I hired Chef Juan Torres with Miranda Catering to feed 240 guests for our two Thanksgiving special luncheons in 2024.
I also hired them to provide me with an ongoing food delivery during a period of two weeks, feeding about 45 guests each day around Christmas time.
On both occasions, I was delighted with Chef Juan Torres food quality, professionalism and work ethic.
I will definitely re-hire Miranda Catering.

Juan catered a corporate reception at my home. The passed appetizers were delicious, especially the ceviche, chicken empanadas and lobster rolls. He and his staff were punctual, highly professional and very pleasant to work with. I received many compliments on his staff and food from guests that are experienced users of caterers. Juan was extremely easy to work with, responsive and self-managing. His pricing is extremely reasonable, especially for the quality of the food and service - a great value! I will definitely use him again.

This was the best money I have ever spent on catering. The team was responsive, arrived on time and the food was incredible. My guests couldn’t stop talking about how good everything was. We got the blinis w caviar, shrimp spring rolls and bruschetta to start and it was delicious. The steak…one of the best steaks I ever had and the chicken was so good too!! I was making sure everyone ate that I forgot myself, they made me a plate and made sure i ate which i really appreciated. I definitely recommend Miranda Catering 100%. I will be booking again!

Excellent food makes an event in my opinion and I am so glad I chose Juan to cater our cocktail party. As a host, I love it when people go out of their way to tell how much they love the food and I even saw some asking Juan for his card which is the ultimate compliment. Juan was very easy to work with and came up with the perfect menu based on our needs. Set up was a breeze and they left our kitchen spotless. He was helpful too on what I needed to get for our self service bar and offered to restock and keep area clean. Overall, we are thrilled and if our party wasn't a moving away party, I'd use him again and again!

Juan and his team at Miranda Catering were exceptional!
I cannot begin to express how lucky we feel to have found him and his amazing crew for our event! People have gone out of their way over and over to tell me how delicious the food was! My mom said she ate 8 pieces of the sea bass HA! My brother looooved the low mein. My dad raved about the farro. The kids gobbled up the burgers and fries. My friends kept asking who made the food. Everyone loved the chicken skewers! His team brought everything out on time, there was PLENTY to eat, they cleaned up everything, and they were a joy to work with. And- they worked with our budget, which we needed. Cannot recommend more highly!! And I am very picky BTW. :)
