Hired them to help put some additional bracing in the wall so we could mount some TVs properly. Great work. Extremely satisfied. Laid plastic down over our conference table before doing and cleaned up completely when done.

Michael has done several jobs in my San Francisco Condo. He has completed an office remodel, kitchen remodel (down to the studs), creation of a laundry room, sound proofing of a ceiling, built-ins in the living area and repurposing a built in hutch. I am more than happy with all of the work he has done. Michael is professional, has an artistic eye and is very easy to work with. I would highly recommend him for any job, large or small, that you may be considering. I am a repeat customer for a reason!

I recently hired Appetite for Construction, Inc. to remodel a bathroom in my vacation/party house. The job involved the demolition of all existing fixtures and flooring, installation of a heated flooring system, tiling the floor and shower, and the installation of a new vanity and toilet. It is important to note that they listened to what I wanted, and they delivered. Mike and crew arrived on time and were total professionals throughout the entire remodel process. The cost of this work was very reasonable and the quality of the work was outstanding. Mike performed the critical detail work himself. Special care was taken with the heated tile floor. He painstakingly made certain that each tile was placed in the optimal location to maximize the differing textures, colors and patterns for the best overall effect. All phases of the remodel were conducted in a manner to ensure durability as well as aesthetics. I hope to bring them back soon to remodel the second bathroom, kitchen, living room and game room.

Mike and Appetite for Construction did some excellent remodeling in our 100 + year old home in the SF. We weren't sure what direction we wanted to take and Mike was able to help us figure it out and get the job done ahead of the deadline. We were lucky enough to find and hire Michael McGuire as our general contractor. The scope of our job was quite large, as it was a complete home remodel. Our remodel included a new addition, new kitchen, new bathrooms with a complete new interior and exterior design plan with modern upgrades to each space. Michael worked with our architect to design a new home that fit both our design aesthetic and our budget. Michael not only assisted in the design process but carried out every vision perfectly. His communication with us throughout the entire process was excellent. As plans changed and unexpected issues arose (which was to be expected), Michael always had options lined up that were not only satisfactory but timely. We get compliments regularly by people walking by our home. We couldn't be happier with all his interior finish work as well. He is not only an excellent general contractor but a true craftsman.
