Mostly just moved my stuff into a storage unit. Was prompt and showed up on time. Very efficient. I wasn't aware that I wasnt able to use my debit card for the service so I had to go get cash after they finished dropping off my stuff into the unit. Probably my fault because I didnt listen or read something.

They arrived on time and got me moved in under 2 hours. The two guys couldnt have been nicer. I wish I would have had them for my previous moves. I will definitely use them in the future.

Derek was prompt and professional throughout our communications and made sure to answer all my questions (I had many) to ensure a stress free and smooth process. He provided an in person inspection for estimate, a breakdown of what to expect & took the time to make sure that all my concerns were addressed. On the day of move, the crew arrived on time, were respectful and diligent throughout the process and made sure to handle/load/unload with care. Not just anyone can become a mover with 1st Choice Movers. Our movers in San Diego are carefully selected through a rigorous application and interview process which requires that applicants have years of experience in moving, driving and providing excellent customer service. Our movers are trained to embody the mission and values of our company and we strive to maintain the highest quality staff possible to support our excellent reputation.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started this company about 10 years ago. After working with customers for a couple years and building our client base of repeat customers and referrals, we service all of San Diego, Orange County and the Temecula area. We take great pride in providing the most efficient, enjoyable and professional move every time. We now average 175 moves per month in the San Diego area.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I'd recommend customers hire only top rated professionals with the highest rating of reviews. We have over 650 - 5 star reviews on yelp and value our customers.
