FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We work with clients in three different ways. For more info, see our pictures for our brochure. 1. Hourly Consulting. We have a $500 minimum investment for in-person consultations. And a two hour minimum for virtual consultations. 2. Fixed Fee Design- This is best for those on a tighter budget that have a kitchen, bath, or furnishing project that want a designer look, but might not have the budget for full service design. 3. Full Service Design. This is best on larger, whole home projects. With this service we provide full set of detailed drawings with custom unique designs, preliminary budgeting, fixture, finish, and furniture specifications, + presentations. We also highly recommend project oversight where we visit the sight periodically, meet with subcontractors, and make sure the design is being executed to plan.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1. Complimentary 15 min. discovery call to determine which design method works best for you and your budget. 2. Schedule paid consultation. (Either virtual or in person). Payment is due at the time of the first consult. If you feel you are wanting full service design, we use this consultation to clarify/ define the scope of work, define style, and desired budget. We use all of this information to produce an estimate for full service design, or a fixed fee design if the scope of work is crystal clear. 3. Present proposal for full-service or fixed fee projects.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
BA in Fine Arts and Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego and is NCIDQ Certified and 15+ years of working experience in interior design, with a focus on medium to high end homes.
